digitally orientable rcf vsa ii series active columns
Rcf vsa ii series columns are available in 8, 12, and 20 transducers (vsa 850 ii, 1250 ii, and 2050 ii), in white or black, with dsp-adjustable vertical beam and rdnet control. Ideal for voice in churches, train stations, airports, museums, and assembly halls.
rcf vsa ii active orientable columns – rcf vsa 850 ii, vsa 1250 ii and vsa 2050 ii
In a reverberant space, a conventional column speaker directs sound towards the ceiling and floor, causing the voice to be lost. Rcf vsa ii series columns use dsp to direct the sound beam towards the audience area, allowing them to be installed flat against the wall and ensuring clearer sound for listeners. Rcf also offers custom colors to integrate them into historical or contemporary architecture.
beam control by dsp
Rcf vsa ii series columns integrate class d amplification per transducer and a 32-bit, 48 khz dsp that controls vertical dispersion: coverage from 10° to 30° and beam orientation from 0° to 40°. They are controlled with rcf's rdnet software and have voice alarm system capability.
choose the height according to the distance
The longer the column, the greater the beam control and coverage distance: the vsa 850 ii is suitable for medium-sized rooms, the vsa 1250 ii for churches and auditoriums, and the vsa 2050 ii for large, highly reverberant spaces and warehouses. Compliance with voice alarm standards depends on the design of the complete system.
facility
The rcf vsa ii series speakers feature a balanced 0 dbu input on ceramic screw terminals, a 125 x 97 mm extruded aluminum housing, and include standard installation accessories. With the swm-br vsa ii swivel brackets, they can be tilted up to 60° horizontally.

Who are the rcf vsa ii series columns for?
- churches and cathedrals:Intelligible voice in spaces with a lot of reverberation.
- stations, airports and lobbies:Clear signs with discreet wall columns.
- museums, plenary halls and auditoriums:Architectural integration in white, black or custom color.
