Charmex is pleased to announce the opening of its first office in Portugal, which includes a showroom where distributors and customers can try and interact with the audiovisual solutions marketed by the company, mainly aimed at the corporate and educational markets.

The new facilities, which are located in the Bela Vista Office business center in Cacém, just 15 minutes from downtown Lisbon, are headed by Bruno Couto, Charmex's commercial delegate in Portugal since 2009. And that is that Charmex's activity in the Portuguese country - a strategic market for the company due to its proximity - it goes back more than 20 years, when its founder, José E. Verdú, started the company's operations through the local distribution channel.

"With the opening of this new showroom we want to further consolidate our presence in the country, strengthen relations with our local distributors and give them the opportunity to use the showroom for their own use in their customer demonstrations, reinforcing our commitment to act as value added wholesaler of the audiovisual sector ", explains Iñigo González, director of International Expansion of Charmex.

He adds: "In short, it is about having a closer relationship with our local network of distributors to provide them with a better service in the commercialization of audiovisual solutions within a B2B market, and offer them the best advice in their projects."

In this last year, Charmex has made a special effort in the development of audiovisual integration projects in Portugal. As a result, through specialized integrators, the facilities of two important multinationals present in the country have been equipped with the Evoko Liso device, which allows the management and administration of the numerous meeting rooms of this type of company.

The truth is that the new Charmex showroom in Lisbon will be a dynamic space in which special emphasis will be placed on promoting the line of interactive solutions marketed by the company for the educational and corporate sectors. Thus, Trauboard interactive whiteboards and Starboard software, Vivitek and Hitachi interactive projectors and Clevertouch 4K multitouch monitors will be on display .

The digital signage product line will also be strongly represented in the showroom with Unilumin LED panels, Novastar controllers, Vivitek's NovoDS4K solution and Vestel's professional displays, a brand with which Charmex recently signed a distribution agreement for Portugal , Spain and Latin America.

In addition, AVets controllers from Neets, wireless presentation systems from wePresent and Vivitek (NovoConnect), Evoko room reservation solutions and other complementary products such as screens, supports, speakers, matrices, extenders, converters, etc. will be available.
