Avenida de La Paz Pharmacy in Getafe: Dynamic communication with LED screens and digital signage


The Avenida de La Paz Pharmacy, located in Getafe, has quickly stood out as a reference pharmacy in the area due to its patient-focused approach. Since its opening in September 2018 in the Bercial neighborhood, this 185-square-meter establishment has sought to adapt to the new languages of the digital world to communicate in a more dynamic, versatile, and fast way.

In order to achieve a different and dynamic communication, the Avenida de La Paz Pharmacy has included indoor Samsung monitors and outdoor LED screens from Traulux. Two years ago two 55-inch Samsung vertical screens were installed behind the counters for customer service. to the public, all managed with Samsung's MagicInfo software for content. Due to the excellent response from customers, last year a 1.5x2 meter Traulux JFIX LED screen was added to one of the shop windows facing the roundabout in the direction of El Corte Inglés del Bercial and the Getafe hospital, which define the neighborhood.

These screens are used as digital signage, to establish direct communication with customers who come to the pharmacy, providing health advice and commercial communications. The main objective is to create an atmosphere that integrates and brings the pharmacy closer to your work environment. The screens are used intensively, seven days a week and for 12 hours a day. On average, about 1,750 people visit the pharmacy each week.

Advised by IT Plus , an AV integrator specialized in solutions for the pharmacy IT ecosystem, and Charmex , they have included the Traulux JFIX screens in the showcase. With a brightness of 5,000 nits, these panels designed for outdoor use are ideal both for outdoor installations and for those indoor installations that require high luminosity, such as the Avenida de La Paz Pharmacy showcase.

"Since we implemented these screens, we have adapted our pharmaceutical messages to this digital support," says the pharmacy team. Among the most significant improvements they have experienced is the ability to go further in communication with the public, since the monitors allow them to extend their messages beyond the physical limits of the pharmacy. In addition, they have managed to establish a different, direct and dynamic communication with customers both inside and outside the pharmacy.

For the installation of the screen in the window, the design was adapted generating a base/cabinet that supports the screen and adjusts to the aesthetics of the pharmacy and the place where it is located.

For their part, Samsung's two interior screens replaced others that they previously had with low image resolution. The choice of these products was based on the recommendation of the IT manager of the pharmacy. Among the advantages that they have experienced since the installation, greater visibility and an improvement in the quality of the visual impact stand out.

"We now have the ability to provide more information and commercial messages, both inside and outside the pharmacy. In the digital world in which we are immersed, communication with customers requires dynamism, movement, versatility and speed, and thanks to these screens we have achieved it", affirms the team of the Avenida de La Paz Pharmacy. In addition, they express their desire to continue exploring new forms of communication.

With its innovative approach and the incorporation of digital screens, the Avenida de La Paz Pharmacy has managed to strengthen its presence in the community and establish a closer connection with its customers, offering relevant information and promoting its commercial offer effectively.
