The rcf dx 1616 processor centralizes the routing, equalization, delays, and crossovers of the entire system—from the mixing console or sources to the power amplifiers—into a single unit. It supports analog, aes/ebu, and dante sources and is network-controlled with windows and mac software, allowing the same unit to be used for fixed setups and for events with different room configurations.

40-bit dsp architecture

The rcf dx 1616 processor operates at 48 khz with a 40-bit floating-point engine and 24-bit converters. Its 16 mic/line inputs with phantom power, 8 aes/ebu inputs and 8 outputs, and dante audio transport allow for integration into analog, digital, or mixed systems, with a maximum latency of 3 ms.

The rcf dx 1616 processor's remote software allows you to configure the preamp, choose the source type for each input (analog, aes/ebu or dante), create input groups, process each source with eq, delay and compressor, and assign it to the outputs using the 16 x 16 router.
