The rcf zm 2000 system grows modularly: zones are added with the ze 2200 and alarm stations with the bm 2006, and each console is expanded with be 2012 keypads. Everything is connected with ftp cat 5 structured cabling, which simplifies installation in multi-story buildings.

The ze 2200 expansion unit, like the main unit, is based on two buses: the first is dedicated to selective announcements or general calls, and the second to music or other signals. Each unit can share the main unit's music program or insert a local source.

Up to six bm 2006 consoles can be daisy-chained to a zm 2124 control panel. Each console allows communication to one zone, several zones, or the entire building, and leds display the status of each zone.
