This system extends hdmi signals over single-mode fiber optic cable over very long distances (up to 10 km) without loss of quality, maintaining compatibility with hdmi 2. 0 at 18 gbps and 4k 60 hz 4:4:4 with hdcp 2. 2. It is designed for professional audiovisual installations where the source and display are far apart (large rooms, auditoriums, buildings) and simplifies the distribution of high-resolution video with integrated audio and control. The transmitter includes a loop-out output and audio embed/de-embedding functions, bi-directional ir and rs-232 control, and edid management to ensure compatibility.
